Jibbing/snowboard park

Jibbing and snowboarding in the middle of the city!
In 2006 Oslo got a new winter sports facility at Grünerløkka; a park for jibbing in central Oslo - a unique thing to find in a city.

The jibbing park has seven different rails, the longest is 20 meters (the longest in Norway).

"Jibbing" means riding on your snowboard or twin tip skis on man-made objects, e.g. rails. The idea is to do different tricks and jumps.
